Get Involved
Equitas is a grassroots organization that depends on your involvement. Please consider leading an effort to raise support for our projects in Africa!
There are many ways you can help. Feel free to use your imagination and create new opportunities, but here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Birthday giving
Ask your friends to donate toward a well in honor of your birthday - Host a dinner at your house
Share a meal with your friends and family, show a video, and collect donations - Organize a change drive at your school or church
Collect your loose change in a jar, and invite your class to do the same - Give up soda or coffee
Try drinking water instead of coffee or soda and donate that money toward a well - Organize a Walk-a-thon at your school
Walk laps around your track, collecting donations for each lap you make - Bake Sale
Bake cookies, pies, or cakes, and sell them at your school or church
